Customer Engagement & Sales Lead
Full Time / Hourly

Role:
The Customer Engagement & Sales Lead position is an engaging and multi-faceted role directly involved in the smooth functioning of our organization's daily operations and integral in fostering a positive and engaging experience for our valued customers.  

This role is responsible for engaging with customers as their first point of contact, handling customer inquiries, providing information about our products and services, educating and guiding customers on the best product match, preparing customized quotes, resolving issues when applicable, and providing an exceptional, personalized customer service experience.  Additionally, the role will directly support the CEO in developing and managing special projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Interaction:
- Engage in a positive manner with customers via phone, email, and live chat to understand their needs, answer questions, and recommend suitable products
- Provide customer support on existing orders as they move through the production process
- Address and resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals

Sales & Order Processing:
- Quickly learn and maintain a good understanding of our products and be able to effectively communicate features and benefits to customers
- Process incoming email inquiries in a timely manner, gather information, and draft customized quotes for customers
- Assist customers with placing custom orders and provide customer updates as directed
- Work closely with the production team to ensure customer needs are met and exceeded

Administrative Support:

Provide general administrative support to the CEO
-Assist the CEO with the development and execution of special projects
- Keep detailed records of customer interactions, sales transactions, and feedback
- Maintain and update databases, spreadsheets, and filing systems as directed
- Compile, analyze, and summarize information for reporting to the CEO

Required Qualifications
- Positive mindset and engaging personality
- Self-driven and thrives in a fast-paced position
- 3+ years experience in sales and/or customer service
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Passion for providing exceptional customer service
- Ability to take direction, learn quickly, and retain information 
- Ability to organize and manage assigned tasks for maximum efficiency with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency with CRM software, sales tools, and customer service platforms (i.e., Google Suite, Trello, Live Chat, FUG, Microsoft Office, and others.)

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with selling on E-commerce platforms including Amazon, Ebay, Etsy...
- Experience with small business growth
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle difficult situations with ease
- Desire to learn and grow with the company
